There is a dress that I think is the dress of all dresses and that is Diane von Furstenberg’s wrap dress. What a genius design! A simple, elegant ease for all women was her philosophy when she created her famous dress. In an interview for the book The Fashion Makers (New York, 1978) she said “There was a need for my things, for very simple dresses everyone could wear”. And I believe she is still right. These dresses are sexy and chic, accessible and easy to wear. It doesn’t matter if you are slim or large, you can still wear a Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress.
