London Fashion Weekend is the ultimate fashion event, taking place in the official London Fashion Week venue on the lawns of the Natural History Museum, South Kensington from the 4th to the 8th of March 2009.

Reinvent your look for less by picking up those must have pieces and the season’s statement purchases at a fraction of their retail price. A mixture of accessories, jewellery and ready to wear from up and coming British designers as well as the classic labels, all in one incredible location. A stunning Catwalk Show, the free Fashion Clinic, makeovers, hair styling, brow shaping and Stylist Sessions, champagne, beautiful food and one off pieces at one off prices – it is what shopping is all about.

The London Design Festival 2009 takes place 19-27 September

The London Design Festival was established to celebrate and promote London as the creative capital of the world and gateway to the UK’s world-class creative community.

The London Design Festival 2009 promises a unique blend of over 200 events and activities reflecting the diversity of world-class design talent in the Capital.

The London Design Festival acts as an umbrella brand, working with and encouraging participation from individuals and organisation across the design spectrum and around the world to explore issues, do business, exchange ideas, learn and have fun.

The Festival is both a cultural and a commercial event. Projects staged as part of the Festival range from major international exhibitions to trade events to local showcases, installations to talks and seminars, product launches to receptions, private views and parties.

Milan Design Week 2009


Milan Design Week 2008

From 16th – 21st of April 2008, the Milan trade fair (Milan Design Week) will host the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the Salone Satellite which is the International Furniture Fair from Wednesday 16th to Monday 21st of April 2008 (9:30am to 6:30pm) trade only, though will open on Sunday 20th April to the general public at the new Milan fairgrounds.

The following elated shows are also running at the same time as to two aforementioned main shows:

eurocucina / the 17th international biennial kitchen exhibition
salone internazionale del bagno / biennial bathroom furnishing exhibition
eimu – salone ufficio / international biennial office exhibition
international furnishing accessories exhibition
the salone satellite / a show of upcoming design talents
Over 270.000 international visitors are expected, most from the worlds established design companies, we suggest you take the time see at least the pavilions 5 + 7 + 8 + 12 within the showgrounds and of course the talent show ‘salone satellite’, at pavilion 28 !

Also, don’t miss British artist Peter Greenaway as he reinterpretes Leonardo Da Vinci’s last supper, to be showcased within the refectory at the Convent of Santa Maria Delle Grazie.
