Architecture Designmekka

For the love of books.

I love books. There is something to be said for holding a book, reading, turning the page, escaping the daily grind (oh well, you might just end up in another grind depending on what you read but you get my drift). The City Library of Stuttgart in Germany recently opened (October 2011) its brand new library after a three year building period. And boy, oh boy, is it a work of art. I can’t wait to visit Stuttgart. The architect behind this art piece is Korean Eun Young Yi and his work was chosen out of 235 competitors.
